Knuckles the Echidna is hired through unknown circumstances by Sonic's Pizza Co. It was originally released on February 1st, 2015, then later re-released (with its initial Game Jolt page taken down) in Five Nights at Sonic's ★COLLECTION★, a collection of the entire classic Five Nights at Sonic's series. The player's role is a newly-hired night-guard who must survive until 6AM as characters from both the Sonic and Mario franchises in the establishment turn evil after-hours. It is a fan-game based on the popular indie title Five Nights at Freddy's and thus shares extremely similar game-play mechanics and story elements.
